A $0.37 plastic clip that was holding a $6.15 plastic brace in place broke and left the brace dragging on the pavement. For three hours of a six-hour road trip, it was very annoying.
We stopped at a gas station so I could cut the plastic brace short enough that it wouldn’t drag and we oscar mike’d out of there.
It’d be a warranty repair but should I even bother? It doesn’t seem to be holding anything and, since it was secured with a cheap piece of crap, it doesn’t seem Nissan is too worried about it either.
My guess is it caught a pot hole and the clip failed.

That clip holds the entire car together. It should be fun to watch the car unravel and erupt its guts on the road.

Funny how people have different solutions. Yours was to cut it off. Mine was to crawl under the car and zip tie it in place.
Which is the more expensive option when you don't own jack stands, and have to buy them.

Haha it was pouring rain. It was the easy option.
